Keep The Main Gate Informed To Better Serve You by Marc Fraser

As the weather gets warmer, the Security Department begins to find an increasing number of instances of front doors, car windows,
trash doors, basement windows�etc. being left open (or ajar), especially after dark; and while these actions may seem innocent enough,
they actually invite potential burglars to take a closer look at choosing your, and your neighbor's, property as possible targets.
Although the Security Department works year round to deter any type of criminal or mischievous activity within Hershey's Mill, we are
also aware that this type of activity usually increases within the township during the summer months; and we need your help in assisting
our prevention efforts!
Therefore, the Hershey's Mill Security Department would like to urge residents to always be sure to secure their homes and vehicles!

Attention Verizon Phone Service Customers:
Hershey's Mill Security is aware that many Verizon phone service customers have experienced several phone line outages over the
last few months. While Verizon acknowledges the presence of technical issues with several phone lines, they feel that their latest
repair has adequately fixed these problems.
Nonetheless, the Security Department would like to develop a database detailing Verizon phone service troubles experienced within
Hershey's Mill. Therefore, we ask all Hershey's Mill residents with Verizon phone service to contact Director of Security Marc Fraser
either during or after each Verizon phone service interruption.
Please contact Director Fraser at 610-431-4006 and leave a message containing the following information:
1. Your Name
2. Your House Number
3. Date(s) of phone service interruption.
4. Description of the phone line problem.
You will not receive a return phone call from Director Fraser, but your information will be collected for the database. Please note
that, should your phone line still be out-of-service when you call, you should also contact Verizon at 1-800-VERIZON to report your
phone line trouble.
The Hershey's Mill Security Department would like to remind all residents that they should call the Main Gate Security Center (610-436-6403)
to provide authorization for expected guests who are (1) NOT already on the resident's Guest Lists, AND (2) meeting a resident at a location
other than their home (i.e. HM Golf Club Restaurant or Golf Course, Winfield Hall, Sullivan House�etc.), where the resident will not be
available to answer the guest's call from the North or Main Gate Guest Phones.
Failure to provide Security with guest authorization WILL RESULT IN THE GUEST BEING DENIED ENTRY INTO HERSHEY'S MILL, should the resident be unavailable.
Also note that guests entering Hershey's Mill to play golf at the Hershey's Mill Golf Club will be asked to dial the Pro Shop by
pressing *#9000 on the North or Main Gate Guest Phones, and the Pro Shop will be able to open the gate for the guest.
Remember ... If you receive a phone call that you suspect is part of a scam, please be sure to
report the call to the Westtown/East Goshen Police Department, as well as Hershey's Mill Security.
